Overview
Ftuz-mad Gri was founded durring the late 16th century in winter of the year 1495, by Sophie. The establishment of Ftuz-mad Gri was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Ftuz-mad Gri's construction back out of the project. Sophie pushed on reguardles, and Ftuz-mad Gri was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Ftuz-mad Gri was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ftuz-mad Gri is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Ftuz-mad Gri is buildings are arranged arround a single narrow flagstone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the city a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The city has a set of well fortified walls, with gatehouses, watch towers, battlments, and even a moat, which are fashioned from stone and timber. Ftuz-mad Gri's walls are, howeaver, fashioned from stone and timber. While unorthadox, the design looks to be functional to a reasonable degree. With luck, the untested design will remain untested for years to come. The city's unusual though effective defenses are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the city's defences.
A look around Ftuz-mad Gri makes it abundantly clear the city suffered something horrible some time ago. It’s a quiet city filled with closed scriptoriums, people quietly yet dejectedly reading in isolated places around town, and the occasional book laying in a heap of garbage.
